Trying out geosearch feature, unable to get to work properly

Hi,

I'm trying out the geosearch feature, but im unable to get it to work. I
probably use it the wrong way, since i've only played around with ES /
lucene for the last couple of weeks.

I have been trying the examples provided in the online documentation along
with some tips from this maillist, but to no avail.

My efforts so far is documented in this gist:

Im using ES 0.16.2

Can someone point me to where I go wrong?
