The request field is a readonly preview based on the options selected in the TSVB view. Have you tried changing the option in the UI on the left?

Actually it is in edit screen, I have not found any option to switch mode for editing query
The Inspector panel offers only a read-only experience for the query.
There's a Copy to clipboard button on the top right corner of it to make it easier to replicate the query on the Kibana DevTools.
No, TSVB does not allow to manipulate the request directly.
Vega is the only visualization editor that lets write directly ES requests, but all the visualization binding is manual.

Not directly, no.
TSVB is a visual tool who builds the query automatically under the hood, so no option to customize it.
