[ERROR][logstash.plugins.registry] Tried to load a plugin's code, but failed. {:exception=>#<LoadError: no such file to load -- logstash/inputs/twitter>, :path=>"logstash/inputs/twitter", :type=>"input", :name=>"twitter"}.

trying listing all the plugins in new system's logstash

please help, how to proceed further?

For some reason you do not have the twitter input installed. The documentation shows you how to install plugins.

Logstash is like any other process. If you own the process then you can kill it using

kill 2618

If someone else owns the process and you have the privilege then you can

sudo kill 2618
(Vinit Pathri) #7

I have done it but its again running when i check it another time.
i am the root user so i don't think permission is a problem here but tried your sudo kill and still process started again.
let me reboot the machine once

#8

Is logstash running as a service? That could explain it getting restarted.

(Vinit Pathri) #9

not as a service
running logstash as
./logstash -f conf.conf
