Hi,
I am trying to update the filter request of the twitter river.
However, when I update /_river/my_twitter_river/_meta, changes are
only taken into account when I restart the server.
How can I force the update without restarting?

You can't change that, but you can delete the river and then create it again.

I am trying this approach in 0.18.6 and deleting/creating the stream does
not effect the running stream. It still requires a restart for the changes
to occur.
