Unable to install elasticsearch 5.5
While executing ./elasticsearch got the below error

How did you install it?
With which user you are trying to run it?

Sounds like a read permission issue on /opt/elasticsearch-5.5.0/config/elasticsearch.yml

see the user about elasticsearch.yml file this don't about running user.

your must change the directory to ec2-user
chown -R ec2-user:ec2-user where the es install directory
ie:chown -R ec2-user:ec2-user /opt/elasticsearch

changed the permission but still same issue

do you want me to change the group as root?
