Unicast and multicast discovery

Hi,
Can multicast and unicast be mixed?
I have a part of a cluster running in house, where multicast is avaiable
and another part running on Amazon, where it's not. What would be the best
way to configure discovery in this case?
Two other questions for unicast: 1) do all the servers in the cluster have
to be listed or is it enough to list a few seed servers and the rest will
be discovered automatically? 2) can the host list contain the server it is
running on, it seems to have created problems when I tried it?

Thanks,
Eran

Yes, multicast and unicast can be mixed, also, you won't have problems with
listing the server its running on, not sure which problems you ran into...
