However, I have never used it.

This plugin did not work with 0.90.2

I've tried to stop and start index and this operation took less than 1
second. I think this will be the temporary solution to me.

It should be relatively easy to update that plugin to Lucene 4.

I have a similar plugin that also needs to be upgraded. One day I will
clean it up and open-source it.
