Would it be considered odd to have a stack containing both Mongo and
ElasticSearch?
We have an application in development that currently uses Mongo as a
DataStore. We've recently come across ElasticSearch and have started
working with it as we want to use it to index lots of documents, but the
more I learn about ElasticSearch, the more I wonder, what is the point of
having Mongo DB here? I could simply move all the data (which is actually
not that much) from Mongo into its own index in ElasticSearch and be done
with Mongo completely.
Or am I missing something?
