Using basic auth for kafka output plugin logstash 6.4.2

Hi,

I see from documentation that the logstash kafka output plugin does not support basic auth. Unfortunately the security environment we are provided only allows basic auth. Is there anyway to use basic auth with logstash kafka output plugin?

Here is documentation that I see only supports no security or SSL/certs.
