Using ElasticAPM distributed tracing to monitor mysql from PHP library calls

Kibana version: 7.12.1

Elasticsearch version: 7.12.1

APM Server version: 7.12.1

APM Agent language and version:PHP 1.0.1

Browser version: Chrome Version 90.0.4430.93 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Original install method (e.g. download page, yum, deb, from source, etc.) and version: apt-get (ubuntu)

Fresh install or upgraded from other version? Fresh

Is there anything special in your setup? No brand new install on local machine

Description of the problem including expected versus actual behavior. Please include screenshots (if relevant): I want to trace PHP and mysql calls - but service map only shows PHP and says it will show other connect services or external requests if we can detect them.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install ElasticSearch, Kibana, apm-server to latest version
2.Configure PHP agent to talk to apm-server
  2. Load up /app/apm/services
  3. Select service
  4. Select Service Map

Errors in browser console (if relevant): N/A

Provide logs and/or server output (if relevant): N/A
