Using ParallelCompositeReader in ElasticSearch

Has anyone ever tried using Lucene's ParallelCompositeReader ? My use case is that I have few of frequently updating fields in an index and want to keep them as a separate index and use ParallelCompositeReader. I am in ES 5.4.
