Using Terracotta as a gateway store

Hi all,

Is there an easy way to use Terracotta as a gateway store for ES? Nothing
obvious shows up in search results, which either means its super-easy, not
really been done or not particularly wise...

I would go with does not really make sense :). Terracttoa is really not a fit for something like that, and you can use local gateawy (the default).
