After updating to ElasticSearch 6 we are having problems inputting our logs.
It appears the issue is down to the @version mapping being set to string and their being no handler to process this. I am guessing this is coming from the _default mapping - is there a way of changing this from string to text?
Have to excuse me bit of an ElasticSearch noob - have read documentation but must be missing something?
