Visualize the last 5 documents

I have an alarm-log from ElastAlert. I've got a nice table in Discovery where I list all alarms with the most recent at the top.

Now, I want to do a data table visualization in Kibana to show the last 5 alarms.
I manage to do the oposite, a list with all the alarms and the last time they occured.

Any ideas?

If you save the search from Discovery, you can add it to a dashboard. When you click on "Add" inside the dashboard, you'll notice two tabs: "Visualization" and "Saved Search". Does this accomplish what you need?
