What is .monitor-es-yyyy-mm-dd used to do?

I used ELK 6.3.2, I found there are lots of .monitor-es/kibana-yyyy-mm-dd indices, what does these indices used to do ? May I delete these indices, is there any impacted if i delete these indices ?
