Wondering when the recency boost update is coming that fixes the hard coded "1 day" decay scale? Last post I saw referencing this was 3 years ago in 2020. Is this fix coming any time soon?
We're trying to implement search for the most recent news article on our site and the recency boost is basically useless because we have articles dating back to 2012.

I'm afraid we won't have recency boosts updates soon for App Search. Some of the discussed workarounds are still valid today.
That said, we're working hard to provide more customization and interoperability with Elasticsearch. Stay tuned!
