Hi
can anyone provide list of character which breaks Elastic Search on index
and search .
Thanks
ES supports UTF encoding and hence there should not be any such character
which breaks ES.
Can you elaborate the context where you have run into such a character.
Thanks

You could break indexing if you use special chars (like comma) in index name, type name or ID.
Otherwise, as Vineeth said, it should not break.

Which part of the document ?
You need to preserve the JSON format for one thing.
Then its just fields and values.
Its fine if it comes in the value side and i havnt tried it on the field
side.
Can you elaborate you problem a little more.
Like the scenario which motivated to ask this question
Thanks
