Which information retrieval model does ES used?

Hi all,

Does anybody know which information retrieval model is utilized in ES?
TF*IDF-based vector space model or some relevance-based language
model?Could I change these model?

Hello!

In the 0.20.x (and before that) ElasticSeaerch uses the TF-IDF model, in 0.90 (for example in the 0.90 RC2) you'll be able to choose a different document ranking model (http://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/reference/index-modules/similarity/).
