Is there a way to use native elastic search service api support for wildcard characters.?
If not, what should be the possible way to access Elasticsearch layer which is beneath the app search to be able to use advance query options?
Can we get the elastic search running instances to which app search endpoints convert?

There is currently no recommendation for querying the elasticsearch instances directly.
