Will replica's do same amount of work as primaries?

Hi,

for our cluster, now the disk is not an issue anymore but the cpu is, if I increase the replica's how much increase cpu usage should I expect?

is it 2x of the previous usage? i.e will the replica's do the same amount of work as the primary shards?

Yes, replicas normally do the same amount of work as primary shards.
