Windows.service.user would be awesome

Hello,

I was working with the Metricbeat windows service metricset and I think it would be a nice addition if the user which is configured to run the service could be added? The field could be called

windows.service.user.name

Is there already a plan to add this, if not can I make a GitHub issue for it?

Hi @willemdh,

Thanks for the suggestion. I wonder if it overlaps with the system.process.username field, but in any case I think it can be handy if system module cannot be used.
Feel free to open an issue to add it :slight_smile:

Shouldn't system.process.username be called system.process.user.name (following ecs guidelines?)
