Working with logstash with agentless

Hi,

i am new to this....

I managed to install all beats agents and imported dashboards which were working great.

Now i am asked to get the same data but with out installing any agent.
this means that i have currently 1 server (i am in the POC phase), with Elasticsearch and logstash installed, on CENTOS 7.

i have few linux and windows machines .
i want to read from each windows eventviewer and linux syslog but with out any agent installed.

can it be done?
if yes, then please explain how.

You could use rsyslog on Centos, not sure about Windows.
