Would upgrading OpenSSL stop running ElasticSearch?

I was notified by AWS to upgrade OpenSSL for previously launched EC2 instances. (for security issue)

Before I upgrade OpenSSL, I am worrying about running ElasticSearch would stop automatically.

Does anyone have an experience on this issue?
If you have, how did you solve it?
