0.16.4 Released

Heya,

0.16.4 version released fixing a nasty native memory leak (jvm bug) and a few other bugs: http://www.elasticsearch.org/download/2011/07/14/0.16.4.html.

Thanks Shay.

Do you strongly recommand to use it ?
I'm going in production in august with 0.16.2 but with only 100k docs.
Do you think I can wait for one or two months before migrate to 0.16.4 or 0.17.x ?

BTW, if I understand well the issue description, the issue always happen after some time ?

Yes, the leak will always happen, its not a big one, bit it happens. I suggest you upgrade, there are only bug fixes in 0.16.3 and 0.16.4, should not affect what you do.

Thanks.

Do I need to upgrade also the client or can I keep 0.16.2 client and only migrate cluster nodes to 0.16.4 ?

The clients can remain with the 0.16.2 version, but its recommended to use the same version.
