Advice for a beginner: Substract two time evolutions

Hi ! I am fairly new to Elastic, I wish someone could give me some advice.
I am building a dashboard and I want to create a vizualisation with two graphs showing a time evolution (cf attached picture), and I want to substract them to have a third graph of the time duration between the two of them. All I know is that it is hard to do it using Vega-lite.

You can do this with TSVB or Timelion. Both are perfectly suited for this use case.
