Agent logs and metrics

In Fleet (cloud, 8.15.3) agent policy settings has options
. Collect agent logs
. Collect agent metrics

There is also the Elastic Agent integration, which seems to do the same thing.

What is the difference? Which to use? Does using both send duplicate data to the cluster?

Hi, it is recommended to use the collect logs/metrics options on the agent policy: Monitor Elastic Agents | Fleet and Elastic Agent Guide [8.16] | Elastic
It is correct that the Elastic Agent integration does the same thing, having them both won't result in duplicate data, I think.
