Any Gotcha's I should be aware of when upgrading Docker Cluster Installs

Hello,

I currently have 2 Docker Clusters that are running ES 6.5.1 There are some newer features the team wants to use that in the later / latest version of ES. We have our compose files working and our ES 6.5.1 Docker environment is working like a charm. If I just change the image from 6.5.1 to say 7.12.1 and re run the docker compose up is there any gotcha's i should know about? Or should I approach this another way. Not alot out there about docker upgrades from ES version x to a higher ES version.
