Any work arounds for this? - issue 21232

I am running into this issue, I create custom indexes and when trying to import metricbeat dashboards for kafka, it is not working correctly.

i have tried to edit the JSON and edit every reference of metricbeat-* with myindex* and importing it and it doesnt work.
