APM agent events are being recorded on Kibana after the installing APM server and configuring APM JAVA agent

APM Server version:6.5.2

APM Agent language and version:elastic-apm-agent-1.3.0/ Java

Browser version: IE 11

Is there anything special in your setup? For example, are you using the Logstash or Kafka outputs? Are you using a load balancer in front of the APM Servers? Have you changed index pattern, generated custom templates, changed agent configuration etc. Index is not being created

Steps to reproduce:

  1. APM server installed successfully
  2. APM agent installed successfully
  3. after launching APM kibana dashboard is not retrieving the metrics and unable to create the index in the management.

Otherwise, please try to provide more details about the problem and symptoms, for example:

  • Are there errors in the java application/agent logs?
  • Are there errors in the APM server logs?
  • If you go to Management -> Index Management, can you see any index related to APM?
