Why does APM Server appear on a service map?

APM Server version: v8.15.0
APM : Fleet Managed - Elastic Agent
Kibana/Elastic: v8.15.0
I cannot reproduce this with a new 8.15 deployment with fleet-managed apm-server.
Was the deployment involved in an upgrade, or is it created as a new 8.15.0 deployment? In apm-server version 8.11.0 to 8.12.0 this is expected as it collects local metrics, but it should no longer be the case from 8.12.1.
If it was not upgraded, we'll have to dig deeper into the issue.

your are correct, Elastic Agent version that is hosting the APM Integration is on 8.11.0.
The APM integration is 8.15.0.
So it looks like I need to upgrade the elastic agent itself
That explains it. Let me know how it goes.
