APM Stress Test

Good afternoon - we are looking in to stress testing our APM server(s) to find out what the maximum throughput that it can handle. Are there any ready made tests available? I came across the following in the Elastic GitHub but I don't believe it will 100% do what we are looking for https://github.com/elastic/apm-integration-testing

For reference the entirety of our ELK stack including the 2 APM servers are running version 7.5.2.

We do have a tool that we use for this: https://github.com/elastic/hey-apm. Please take a look and see if it fits your needs, and feel free to open issues for feature requests.

There are some known issues with the way the load generator works - so take the results with a grain of salt. We'll be making changes to it over time to improve the tool's reliability.
