Authentication Options for Scroll API Call

Hi Elastic Experts, I am hoping you can help me.

I am building Power BI templates for my clients using the Scroll API method where they want to retrieve results in excess of 10,000 records.

I have built the templates using my company's Elasticsearch URL's and APIkeys and it is working perfectly.

However, I don't want to issue these out to my clients where they will be able to refresh my data without authentication.

If I try to change the URL to a fictitious address and swap a character in the key, I am unable to save the template.

Is there a way I can create the template without my clients having access to our dataset?
