We have elk (elasticsearch 1.7 no plan for upgrade till now) setup in production, everyday we are getting ~15gb of data and space we have locally is ~150GB.
We have good amount of external storage.
Now our requirement is we want 10days of indices locally available and all old indices should be backed up on external storage.
If I take sanpshot everyday and move to external storage, in this case after few day I will be running out of memory because snapshot required space locally ?
Is there anyway where I can sync my latest snapshot with old snapshot uploaded in external storage?
