Basic License - Features

Hi,
I was using the trial version for the last couple of days. I had elk authentication and all the features was enabled in the trial.
After the Trial expiry I went for a basic license. At the time of licensing ,it was prompted like , applying the basic license will remove some of the features including authentication.
I had some of my test clients in remote locations pushing data to the ELK and I was using the elastic search authentication.
So whether applying the basic license will remove the authentication?
Please advice!

The default distribution of Elasticsearch includes all of X-Pack, but the default license is "basic".

Basic does not contains Security as per the above link.

I am currently using ES 6.2 .So I was in need of licensing.
