We definitely encourage you to continue improving the Nginxbeat as you are the author of the project. Moreover we would like to support and help you improve the Nginxbeat.
We didn't yet decide how we will organize and make known the community provided Beats, but I think we'd like to import them under the elastic Github org at some point. For now, we created this list: Beats from the Open Source Community
