Benchmarking without ip but with domain

Hey.....Thank you so much for your support. I am running esrally against AWS cluster since I don't know all IP of the cluster I am using the cluster domain name. I am invoking using following command

esrally --pipeline=benchmark-only --track=pmc --target-hosts=search-kinleym5lwarmupnotp-vie73zuacxatp47u2k6ah7wlnm.us-east-1.es.amazonaws.com:80

When I run rally using above invoked command on AWS cluster, I usually get an error like

no throughput metrics available likely cause benchmark ended already during warmup and sometimes the value of the results are mostly 0.

Please help .

Hi Tshering,

As long as the domain is resolvable on your benchmarking machine, this should not be a problem.

Perhaps you could share your Rally logs?
