Bulk python hangs forever

Hi all,
I'm facing a problem with the bulk function of ElasticSearch python package.

When i run the bulk function it hangs forever (maybe in a deadlock state).

Here the details of the environment

elasticsearch-6.4.3-1

Python 3.4.6
elasticsearch 6.2.0 (python library)

Elasticsearch is installed as a single node instance.

Has anyone faced the same problem?
