Calculate the time taken that logstash write to data node

hi we want to evaluate the time taken when same logstash indexer writes to the data node located in different data center.

can anyone advice how that can be done? do you know the @timestamp is the time data writes to elasticsearch data node or the time logstash indexer receive the data from shipper?
