Slow logs should work, but you might need to SSH to the host machine to see the logs, as they would likely not be indexed by our logging and metrics clusters. (I'll verify this last point with the development team tomorrow to be sure. If incorrect, I'll post a follow-up)
The JVM size can be set with --memory-settings JVM_SETTINGS when installing ECE. See https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/cloud-enterprise/current/ece-installation-script.html for more information.
