Can We move mapping and template without moving data with snapshot and restore?

Is it Possible?

like i dont want take snapshot of any index but just want to take snapshot of cluster state
and restore it !

We have to take snapshot of atleast 1 index and cluster state I guess.
Then it is possible to move mapping and template. Hope this helps you

that what i thinking we need at least one index in snapshot.
