Can't remove deleted object from dashboard

Dear All,
I deleted a visualisation from the library which was used in a kibana dashboard. Unfortunately there is now an empty frame which can't be removed from the dashboard.
Any ideas how to solve this issue without creating the dashboard from scratch.
I am using ELK 8.3.3
