Can't start kibana 6.6 on Windows

Is there a known fix/workaround for this?

What steps are you following exactly? It'd be worth creating a github issue at https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues - the issue form asks details about what steps were followed and other possibly important details.

Please also check if the zip file had been downloaded and extracted fully.

Yes, sha is correct. Steps were simple: download, extract, run

I checked it with my colleagues and it is expected to work, so please check if the install maybe runs into some constraints (check disk space etc. resources, and logs), and consider filing a github issue on the above link.
