Change Scaled Date format by query

Hi all,

I'm trying to change Scaled Date format by query.

Here in scaled format , I want to add:

["P1MT", "MMM-YYYY"],

Basically, we can change in Kibana UI, but for this instance I do not have kibana access and have only ES access.

Instead of KIbana UI, is there any ES query or Curl where I can change Scaled Date format?

I want to change default Scaled Date format for both ES and Kibana.

But I want to change using ES query instead of changing from Kibana Advanced settings UI.

I tried PUT command, but not sure exact query.

Instead of changing in Advanced settings, any other way i can change Scaled Date format?
