If the indexs are closed, will the amount of meta-information data of their shards decrease in the global cluster meta data? What is included in the cluster meta information? And are there any articles about it?
You can see the full contents of the global cluster metadata, a.k.a the cluster state, with the get cluster state API. It includes things like settings and mappings for each index. Closing an index does not remove any information from the cluster state.
