Collecting Logs from Window Server 2008 R2

Hi,
Is there any possible way that I can get logs of window server 2008 R1 & R2 on my local client machine without installing elk stack and Winbeatlog on server? Please suggest me some possible way.

First you don't need to have Elasticsearch running on Windows 2008 to use Winlogbeat. You can run Elasticsearch elsewhere.

Winlogbeat 6.x will likely work on Windows 2008. We don't test/support this configuration hence why I say "likely". But for Winlogbeat 7.0 I don't think it will work because Go isn't supported there.
