Configure APM agent to disable sending metrics for specific endpoint

Is is possible to disable specific endpoints an application, eg: healthcheck endpoints from sending metrics in the agent?

What should be a best practice?

APM Agent language and version: C#, NuGet Elastic.Apm package version="1.7.1"

there is a setting for this. Here is the doc for it.
