Configuring auth with AD users

Hey, we are currently have elastic cloud with Elasticsearch and kibana on it. The login process atm is via deployments.
We are looking to configure AD auth to kibana. I'm a little bit confused with all the guides. What do we actually need in order to configure it from the elastic UI? Do I need to configure kibana.yml or Elasticsearch.yml ? Both are empty atm
We have a platinum sub.
