Conversion of ip field from string to ip datatype

Hi All,

I want to convert one date field which is of string to ip type.
I am trying the same with the convert processor available but it will throw error as
"ipformat is not supported" and from the document as well I checked the same that ip conversion is not allowed in convert processor.

Can someone suggest how to perform this task.

I want my source_ip field datatype as ip in the index created.
