Could not find java in JAVA_HOME or bundled at elasticsearch-7.4.2/jdk/bin/java

Hi all,
I am trying to install elasticsearch 7.4.2.
in documentation it says it comes bundled with jdk.
but i get the this message,
could not find java in JAVA_HOME or bundled at /root/Downloads/elasticsearch-7.4.2/jdk/bin/java
do i need to install jdk manually?

Can you explain what distribution of Elasticsearch (which archive) you downloaded. What operating system are you running on? How did you start Elasticsearch? Is the filesystem you are on allowed to execute binaries (try moving the directory somewhere else and see if that changes anything)?

Now the problem is solved, the user trying to run elastic had privileges issues .
