Is there a way to configure the CPU use for logstash, so it can't pass a threshold?
what I am seing logstash uses all the available resources.

You'd have to do that on the OS level.
Otherwise it'd be better to try to figure out why it is using so much CPU. Whats your config look like? What version, OS? What does your data look like?
It's for prevention.
I am using some kind of hard filters after all.
it's of the average of 35% CPU , but sometimes it hits the 80%.
That's not very much.
